Milwaukee Gets 84-74 Win Over Detroit

The Titans suffered a letdown in Milwaukee on January 14th, losing to the Panthers in conference play, 84-74.

A couple facts coming into the game: In terms of RPI, Detroit was ranked much lower than Milwaukee (#222 to #109). The Titans are usually weak playing on the road, and with this loss that record drops to 2-7. A year ago, Detroit went 0-2 against Milwaukee. Over four years, the Titans stand at 2-7, and at U.S. Cellular Arena, they're 1-4. Since 1980, the Detroit record against Milwaukee is 16-21.

Detroit found itself dominated in shooting and three pointers.

The Panthers shot 58%, enough to beat the 41% from the Titans. Three-pointers were devastating, with 42 points for Milwaukee coming from three-point range to 12 from Detroit.

Ray McCallum put his best effort out there for the Titans with 23 points in 36 minutes shooting 52% from the floor. Eli Holman helped out with a game-high 11 rebounds.
