Detroit Struggles in 86-73 Loss To George Washington

The inconsistency is beginning to hurt Detroit. On November 21st at a neutral site, the Titans lost to the Colonials in the CBE Classic, 86-73.

The expectation was that the Titans could win this game.

George Washington exploited Detroit in shooting and added a solid performance in three pointers.

The Colonials, shooting 55%, leaned on their defense to contain the Titans and limit them to 39%. George Washington was deadly from three-point range and outscored Detroit, 27 points to nine.

Nick Minnerath led the losing effort for the Titans with 18 points on 38% shooting in 35 minutes. LaMarcus Lowe led both teams with 10 rebounds.
